Hope slim for governmental change

“We might as well pay the mafia” by Jonathan Ryan is a relatively excellent editorial. Too bad that as long as the tyrannical plutocracy leads, then the authoritarian police state must necessarily follow. My mantra, at present, continues to be: "There is no reasonable hope apparent." We should be working on what has been spoiled.

However, I still think we will be forced to wait. The establishment needs radical revolution. However, that can’t be remotely possible until after it drives through psychotic chaos. Plutocracy and police state automatically worsen. The question is how badly out of touch with reality does the triumph of lies, backed up with violence, have to be before there can be genuine change to those systems?
