On Valentine’s Day, you can send a valentine to that special someone by hiring The Singing Sweethearts. The troupe, hailing from Beyond the Overpass Theatre, consists of Claire Hewlett, Jody Lear, Lesley Dove Smith, and Leslie Hewlett. Twenty dollars will buy two songs sung to that special someone.

MUN’s Student Music Society hosts Gala and Silent Auction

MUN’s Student Music Society is hosting a Gala and Silent Auction on Feb. 18, which will be held in the D.F Cook recital hall in the M.O Morgan Building. The event aims to raise funds for a needs-based scholarship for music students. Last year, the event raised over $6,000, and the society hopes to raise more this year.
